Afrikaans Home Language lessons online for Grade 8 to 12, with a native Afrikaans speaker.
Who it is for
Learners at CAPS and IEB schools, and homeschool learners, who already speak Afrikaans at home and want to be more exact with grammar, stronger in their essays and more confident with set works.
What we work on
- Language in context: comprehension, summary and language structures.
- Literature: understanding and writing about your prescribed set works.
- Writing: essays and transactional texts, planned and edited properly.
Lessons are in Afrikaans where the learner is comfortable with that. We agree what suits the learner in the free assessment.
How lessons run
- One-to-one, 30 minutes, R160.
- Five lessons for R750, ten for R1,400.
Want a full hour? Book two lessons with a 15 minute break between them. It is a feature, not a workaround: children concentrate better in 30 minute blocks, and the break lets them reset.
