English Home Language and First Additional Language
Clear, patient English lessons online for Grade 8 to 12, for CAPS and IEB learners and for homeschool learners.
What we work on
- Reading comprehension and summary skills.
- Language structures and conventions, in context.
- Essays and transactional writing: planning, structure and editing.
- Literature and set works.
The same three-paper structure as Afrikaans applies, so a learner who takes both languages can plan their week with one tutor.
How lessons run
- One-to-one, 30 minutes, R160.
- Five lessons for R750, ten for R1,400.
Want a full hour? Book two lessons with a 15 minute break between them. It is a feature, not a workaround: children concentrate better in 30 minute blocks, and the break lets them reset.
